Argati has a great technology coupled with world-class data centers.
The primary data center is located in Michigan, and is a third-tier Network Operation Center. It has a natural gas generator and all equipment runs off the UPS in an environmentally controlled area. There are both physical and logical security measures in place. Redundant fiber internet connections with an on-site Fiber Link Manager offer even greater advantages. Unlike other data centers which have to rely on local phone company equipment to maintain their connectivity, ours has Fiber Link Manager inside our facility, and on our generator. This allows us to have connectivity even during an extended power outage, such as the Blackout of 2003.

With the optional replication module, ARGATI can replicate its backup data to an offsite Replication Server (ARGATI RPS) regardless of its physical location. This provides an extra level of data protection.
ARGATI can run on essentially all the common platforms, specifically Windows, Linux, Unix and Novell.
ARGATI can backup files even when they are open, i.e. ARGATI can backup your Microsoft Outlook data files even when you are working with your emails.
Data transfer is minimized by uploading only the modified data blocks.
ARGATI provides flexible retention policy settings and it allows you to restore snapshots of the data set as of a particular point in time. |
ARGATI provides a very flexible backup scheduler, you can easily implement your desired backup policy.
Data are encrypted and compressed before being uploaded and stored on the Backup Server.

ARGATI Management Console provides access to extensive details on system activities, backup jobs, restore jobs, backup errors and replication activities. In addition, ARGATI OBM keeps the system administrators informed on the system wellness through alert emails and users updated on the status of their backups through email reports. |
